FOCUS ON FUN, FAMILY AND FITNESS WITH FOCUS TAEKWON-DO

Focus Taekwon-Do is located in Chestermere Alberta, and has been operating out of the Chestermere Recreation Center for the past 17 years. We are ICTF and ICTF Canada certified and we follow the strict teachings of General Choi Hong Hi, creator of Taekwon-Do. We carefully honor the tenants of TKD which are courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit. At Focus TKD, our main “Focus” is on family, fun, and fitness. Our classes are scheduled to conveniently allow for both adult and children to take part in classes at the same time! At Focus TKD we believe in building strong community relationships and consider our students to be part of our family.

Our Children’s’ Taekwon-Do program is broken down into easy to learn steps, and is taught by two very skilled instructors, Rachel Seever and Kelley Galloway. Both Rachel and Kelley have been international competitors for over 10 years; achieving numerous gold medals, and an invitation to represent Team Canada at the 2007 World Cup Championships. More importantly, they both LOVE children! In this class the children will learn the value of family, fun, and fitness while being introduced to possible life saving self-defense methods. Ages 4-9.

The senior Taekwon-Do Program offers classes for ages 10 and up. In this class we train our students to the best of their ability, focusing on individual strengths. Weather your reason for joining is to improve fitness, weight loss, stress reduction, or maybe you want to learn some self-defense, or become the next world champion, Focus TKD can help you reach your goal. This class is led by Aimee Maund and Bonnie Harvey who both hold World Championship Titles. Both Aimee and Bonnie have been selected as Team Canada members four times and have achieved an abundance of gold medals, awards, and honorable mention.
